The mat cleaner cleans well and easily (just spray on mat, let sit for a bit, and wipe off with a towel) and has a smell that is unlikely to offend anyone (slightly orange-y). However, I was hoping for more of a scent. There is a lot in the 16 oz bottle; I use it to clean my bathroom floors now too and still don't think I'll be running out any time soon. All in all, a good product, but I don't think I'd repurchase due to the uninspiring scent.

I bought this soap just to keep my mat clean. It's got quite a strong lemon/ginger smell, which can be unpleasant if you use too much of the spray when cleaning. In small amounts it's nice and makes your mat smell clean.

By accident, I found that if you happen to use this on your bathroom mirrors (long story), it makes them fog free! Which is great, since I can't find any fog-free cleaners for glass normally. It works really well, and doesn't take much, even for large mirrors.

This mat spray is made with essential oils...which are natural and chemical free. What else would you want to wash your yoga mat with? The esential oils leave behind a nice aroma that lingers into your next practice. Be careful not to overuse, particularly if you have a sensitive nose though. I just use a couple squirts and spread it thin over my mat. It is also effective to kill bacteria and fungus on mats when you are sharing mats with others. Buy the small bottle if it is for yourself, the big one is huge! I don't know it's shelf life.

I absolutely love this yoga mat wash by Vermont Soap Co. It is easy to use and I find that I clean my mat more often because of its easy use. The first use helped to remove the slimy residue that I had on my new mat. Since my mat is so thick and can't be washed in the washing machine, my only option was to wash it by hand. I actually like this product much better than washing it in the machine. Your mat will smell fresh and clean too! I think the price is fair as it will last you awhile.

This product has worked very well at keeping my yoga mat clean after my yoga/meditation classes. The soap appears to remove all traces of body oils and sweat, and leaves no residue. It's now a ritual for me to use this soap to wash off my mat after every yoga session. The soap leaves the mat squeeky clean, and smelling lemony fresh. I would definitely recommend this product.

I just purchased one of these, and I like it. I use it as a substitute for my office chair a couple hours a day (likely more soon), and I feel that this is helping me strengthen my core muscles. I would advise making sure to pump it up fully, as it initially seems that you should stop pumping a little earlier. Make sure it is firm after pumping and doesn't have too much "give". So, if you work in an office and don't have a regular exercise routine, or you do and want to get a little more out of your workday, go for one of these. This model was one of the lowest priced when I purchased it, and it has a pump (unlike some others).

I ordered the 65cm ball. After spending 20 minutes pumping it up with the tiny little hand pump they provide, I discovered that at full inflation the ball was only 55cm. Then I had to spend another 20 minutes on the phone with Amazon to return it. Complete waste of time.

I think the recommended size 55cm for adult under 5'6" is kinda too small, when i sit on the ball it is much lower than i expected. And i can't get the seal closed tight for first 2-3 weeks, so it caused air leaking, need to re-pump once in a week. Now the seal is plugged correctly, but it still needs re-pumping every week (i use the ball everyday). I'm not sure is it the nature of this kind of ball or is a quality issue?

The material is quite good, the rubber is not shiny and slippery like other ball. Unfortunately it does not come with measurement tape, so you need to figure out yourself whether it is enough inflated or not. Hand pump is also OK, even though a foot pump sounds better, it is faster to inflate with a hand pump.

I was very disappointed about the quality of the pump and the ball. I needed a stronger pump to blow the ball up, the hand pump was a joke. Also, I find that I consitintly need to refill the air in the ball as it keeps leaking out.

There's not a whole lot you can say about a couple of blocks. These are well made with a very strong, yet soft material. If you've used blocks in class, then you know the advantage of these blocks. If you haven't, and you have trouble holding certain poses, these blocks are invaluable. These arrived promptly, well packaged. There was absolutely no odor that some have commented on. They have great stability and strength (enough to sit on 1 on it's end) yet they have a nice give when you are using them for you hands on the floor.

I am a beginning yoga teacher and bought several of these blocks for my small, non-studio classes. I am a big proponent of using blocks and after 10 years of practice use them regularly - moreso than at the beginning when I somehow thought blocks were a sign of weakness!

These specific blocks are quite good. they feel very firm and sturdy in all flat hand applications. they "give" a little and are left with an imprint if you are on your fingertips or all the weight is on the heel of your hand. the imprint disappears pretty quickly. They aren't spongy at all.

AURORAE YOGI TIPS


· Wash your mat down with a soft brush and a tablespoon of dish washing liquid or detergent then rinse off. Do this in the shower if you can't do outside then hang over shower rod to dry. Repeat if necessary.


· Hang dry outside in the sun if possible. DO NOT PUT IN DRYER. Your mat must be absolutely dry before use.


· To keep your mat clean and fresh, spray Aurorae Yoga Mat Wash directly onto mat and let soak then wipe dry. Do as needed after use.
This will disinfect, restore and keep your mat fresh and clean.


· Wash your hands with soap and water before class to reduce any natural oils in your hands.


· Do not use creams or oils on your hands or feet before your practice.

Since we're newbies we have nothing to compare them to except the studio mats but, needless to say, they are MUCH more comfortable than those. We love the extra length since we are both on the tall side and the extra cushioning is great.

There is the slippery factor to contend with as many of the other reviewers mentioned. I washed them 4 or 5 times which helped quite a bit but when the sweat starts pouring the hands still start slipping. Wound up getting a mat-sized Yogitoes towel for my husband so he's a very happy camper now - comfortable and not slipping. I still slip a bit now and then on mine but it's getting better with each use.

All in all a great mat, especially for us beginers!

The first few times of use, I did slip a bit but I ran the mats through a cycle in my washing machine with mild detergent and this fixed the slipping problem.

I practice hot yoga quite frequently, and I needed something that would cath my sweat (I know, kinda gross) as well as keep me from slipping.

While the YogiToes mat does stay in place for the duration of the class, it does not keep me from slipping... if anything, it makes it worse!

If I were in a traditional yoga class, out of the heat, it would work fantastic.

Really good towel for hot yoga. Washes and dries very fast and is very absorbent. Only porblem I've had is with the color bleeding, even after about 10 washes, so I just wash it in the sink by itself and wring it out in the washer and hang to dry. I've been using it several days a week and I plan on buying another one in a different color. The one I have is black.

Just started doing yoga 3 months ago. At first I was just bringing a towel and using a different one every day for hot yoga. But having decided that I was going to do Yoga regularly I purchased this yoga towel. So far it has been great. I wash it everyday and it does not lose any of the sticky pieces and drys quickly. It sticks to your yoga mat and does not bunch up as you move around. I am going to purchase another soon. High recommend it.
