I get wrist pain when doing yoga and this helped to alleviate the pain. I have no pain in my wrists. It works bests if you put it under your yoga mat so your hands do not slide.

Firm foam provides support but I removed one star because surface is perfectly smooth and therefore provides no grip. Whether this makes a difference would depend on the use you intend it for.

This yoga wedge works very well. The size is perfect and really helps my wrists (I have tendonitis). As your wrists get stronger you can move towards the thinner edge of the wedge. The only thing that I could improve about this wedge is that it can be a little bit slippery in some poses, such as an upward bow or wheel pose.

I love the Hugger Mugger Yoga wedge. I had been looking for one for a while because it is used in the AM/PM Yoga for Weight Loss DVD by Susan Deason for GAIAM. It works well - a whole lot easier than rolling blankets too.
